Here are a few of our critical prayer requests that we hope will empower and inspire you to use as you pray and partner with us. Thank you for being a part of our Village!

Praise and Thanksgiving

We praise and thank God for the work of our Village of Hope staff. We are blown away that the Lord is empowering children, families, and communities through the gift of education. He has provided incredibly talented teachers and staff that are transforming lives by using the gifts they have been blessed with. We thank Him for the opportunity we have to serve Him together to advance His love and empowerment. We praise Him because He is good and keeps His promises.

“Thank the Lord! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.” - Isaiah 12:4-5

Protection

We pray for protection over the staff and leaders of VOH. We pray for the health and safety for our children and parents, leaders and board. We ask God for families to be united and for the country of Haiti to prosper. We ask for protection over the land, agriculture, businesses, and families that have experienced unrest.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. - Ephesians 6:12

VOH Partners

We thank God for the partners who support our ministry in a variety of ways and for their faithfulness despite all the trials in Haiti. We thank God for the opportunity to serve Him together. We pray that our Village would experience the continual faithfulness of God expressed through His comfort, peace, care, provision, and protection. We ask that God would ignite all of our hearts to see people near and far give their lives to Jesus. And we continue to pray that people would respond to the call of God on their lives to serve, give to, advocate for God's people in Haiti.

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you. - 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Our Mission

We ask the Lord for wisdom for our staff as they lead and care for hundreds of children. Due to the unrest, we pray for quick adjustment periods as children experience such unstable school schedules. We pray for understanding and partnership with the parents of our students. We ask God for resources to continue the important work we have been called to, no matter the location. We pray for the leadership in Haiti—that leaders would come to a place of surrender to God's love, grace, and sovereignty.

We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. - Psalm 78:4
