Go On A Mission

Due to the current political situation and unrest in Haiti, we are not able to schedule mission trips into Haiti in 2023.  We are offering virtual trips to teams who are interested in meeting our Field Director Maryse Sterlin and Executive Director, Dan Zieschang.

For more information, please contact Dan Zieschang at dan@villageofhopehaiti.org
Medical Missions

Haiti’s health care system continues to be devastated by disasters and rebuilding it continues to be a very slow process. Mobile Medical Teams, primarily from the USA, visit Haiti each quarter to work with the Village of Hope Health Center medical professionals. This collaborative team of Haitian and US medical colleagues, dental professionals, translators, drivers, and support staff go directly into the community to provide very basic health services. This is done in cooperation with the Haitian Health Department (MSPP) who identifies the areas of most need.

Work Teams

NON SPECIFIC

Teams can be formed with a specific project in mind or projects will be assigned as determined by the Director. The type of work will/depend on the skills of the team members. Some examples include: painting, electrical, plumbing, construction and Vacation Bible School.

CHRISTMAS

This team packages and distributes the gifts provided by supporters around the country to the 640 students and 75 staff at VOH. The team works with Papa Noel (Santa Claus) as he hands out the gifts to our students and staff. The team also provides a special Bible story and craft to children in the Ganthier community.

ENRICHMENT

July offers the VOH students, age 10 and older, the opportunity to learn hands on skills and instruction in the arts taught by teachers from both the US and Haiti. The course list depends on the skills of the teachers but has included: art, sewing, paper beads making, wood working, cross stitch, music, dance, metal work, papier-mâché, hair dressing, robotics, computer skills, resume writing. What skill/talent are you willing to share?

Lennie Fenton

"I have seen God work miracles in Haiti!  Our mission teams have been overwhelmed by the hearts of our brothers and sisters at Village of Hope."

Frank Wagner

Missionary
"We love our brothers and sisters at Village of Hope and have been touched by their partnership in ministry.  What a blessing!"

Tom Lambiase

Missionary
"I have traveled to VOH about 30 times since 2007 and have a piece of my heart and soul with the children and people there.  Each time I return it is with the conviction that I have received far more than I have given.  If you are able to support this mission either on a future trip, through prayer, or financially know that you are being Christ’s hands and feet, heart and mind to those very much in need."
